Authenticity
as a Lifestyle:
the Angie's story
28.05.2025
I had always dreamed of starting a fashion blog. But between countless graphic projects and tight deadlines, there never seemed to be enough time. And yet, here we are - on the 28 th May, a special day for me - not just to talk about fashion, but about lifestyle, or rather, about lives. Real lives, with all their beauty, messiness, and transformation. Lives I hope to share with you through my projects, articles, and stories.
Lately, I’ve been traveling a lot, carrying my little red suitcase on my back. With it came experiences full of emotions and unforgettable encounters—like the one with Angie, a friend I met during an Erasmus Plus exchange. Her story moved me deeply.
Angie grew up in a small valley, where she gave up on many things—especially friendships—to devote herself to her local community. Then came the turning point: an experience abroad that threw her into bustling, crowded places. Spaces that made her feel seen, but also vulnerable. That visibility brought both strength and fragility. She slowly got caught in a digital spiral—seeking validation and attention online, while simultaneously fearing judgment and bullying. Eventually, she found herself in what today we call situationships—unclear, emotionally tangled connections that felt more like a chess game than love.
After a physical and emotional breakdown, Angie realized she needed to return to something real. Something authentic.
She chose to reconnect with her past, to rebuild old bridges, and search for peace. She started wearing her favorite color again: sky blue. In that moment, she began to love the person she had always struggled with—herself. She started believing once more that to fly, sometimes you have to get your wings dirty, leave the nest, and walk through the mud to find your own direction.
I heard from her a few days ago. She’s still healing. Still taking time for herself. The road is long, but she’s learning. Every day.
Her story taught me the beauty of authenticity, the value of small daily actions, and that a truly healthy lifestyle is one rooted in people, in true relationships, in meaningful connections.
This blog is for her—for anyone who, like Angie, faces their insecurities every day and still manages to rise with elegance, even when their posture isn’t perfectly straight.
With love,
Fefe
Enjoy your life!
